Power Wise 28115 G04 charger help needed
In advance, please excuse my shocking lack of knowledge with this subject but i could really use some suggestions. I work for an inn that has an EZ GO cart that has been laid up for almost 3 years because of a complete renovation done to the property, it wasn't in use. It was functioning fine before that (i worked here before the renovation too and used it alot). So i'm thinking the cause is the charger, Power wise 28115 G04. Nothing happens when plugged in...no charge, no hum, no ammeter movement. Being the good Portugee that i am i take it apart assuming i can fix it. Nothing really jumped out at me as to what the cause might be but i have a couple suspicions. Out of the three wires in the power cord wire (white, black, green), the green wire was not attached to anything inside. It seems like it may have broke off something but i cannot locate anywhere that it may have attached or plugged into. The other issue it may be is the circular silver barrel looking part that has two white wires attached at the top. It has alot of rust all around where the wires attach, thats why i suspect that as another issue. Being as though it seems nothing at all happens when i plug it, im thinking the green wire is the culprit. Any suggestions are extremely appreciated, thank you!

Re: Power Wise 28115 G04 charger help needed
All the batteries are dead and there has to be juice in them to turn the charger on. If the batteries have been sitting 3 yrs I am sure they arent any good. You just might as well get ready to spend 600.00 bucks for a new set.

Is there any way i could test to see if the batteries are completely dead without having to use the charger?

Make sure they have water in them, distilled water if you add any.You can then charge them with a 6-volt car charger, now that is each battery seperate. If you can get some charge in them after all 6 are done hook the cables back up and plug in the regular charger.

The green wire also grounds to the frame of the charger.
