Default G22-2004 adding Power Outlet?

Where should I connect to,for 12 volts, for power and ground? Can not just use one 8 volt battery, correct? Want this to charge smart phone used as Golf GPS. Will install inline fuse.

i Strongly recommend NOT installing one if you do not have a DC/DC convertor. you will most likely destroy your device you want to charge by applying 16volts, it may destroy it on 8volts or may not charge. without a DC/DC convertor there is no way to supply 12volts.

I agree, get a 48 to 12 volt reducer.

For you application you could also use a 16V to 12V reducer. You will need one if you want to add lights anyways.
