Star 48 2 Start Stop braking engagement
I am looking at buying a 2008 Star 48 2, I know that the batteries are very weak and need to be replaced. When I test drove the cart it would accelerate then within seconds the braking system would engage. I would have to let my foot off the pedal and then slowly press the gas pedal.
Is this because of the weak batteries or could it be a controller issue? I don't what to buy it expecting to spend $700 on batteries and then need to add a controller for an additional 4-700 dollars. Any comments are appreciated Dave |
