Re: Club car gas won't start
Could it be the brushes in the starter?

Re: Club car gas won't start
No just checked that and put ohm meter on leads of selenoid pushed gad and read 11.3 so that's a bad battery right?

Re: Club car gas won't start
Yeah it does sound like you may have a bad battery. Can you swap another battery in just to test, like from one of your cars?

Re: Club car gas won't start
Check out this thread, seems this member had the same problem:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...r-problem.html He never came back to confirm that was it for sure, but according to his tests that seemed to be it. |

Re: Club car gas won't start
How tall a lift did you put on? I only put a 4" lift on a 2000 DS and had to extend (used a six inch bolt) the ground strap connected from the end of the starter to the point on the frame directly above the starter to make it work. Not sure where that ground strap is routed on a "92". I hope it's the battery but would check out the ground again.

Re: Club car gas won't start
Just a suggestion: rotate the drive clutch by hand to move the S/G in a different spot. If you have battery voltage at the S/G(large wire from solenoid), then your problem is with the starter/generator. Rotating the starter into a different position may give you a clean spot on the armature. If it turns over, then you need new brushes.
