Default 1991 gas club car start?

Initial starting problem. Key on, good battery, but very hard to start up. Runs okay after it is warmed up.

where are you at? a lot of them old ones are cold blooded. also make sure that the air box lid is on correctly as I have heard that can give you problems.

You are meaning motor is hard to start and not that the generator belt is slipping, correct?

My 89 starts with the pedal almost up. If I floor it on a cold start, it will not start. When I ease up on it, she will start up. Hardly ever use the choke anymore here in central NC.

I have a 96 Gasser in NC, everytime on first start I give it 1/4 peddle and choke for 10
seconds, then let off chock, then hold peddle for about 5 more seconds.
Then it's good to go for the day !
