G21a Yamahauler top speed of 8mph!!!
Hi, yeah, the title says it all, I have a top speed of 8mph going on a flat surface, and believe it or not, she goes faster uphill, I am thinking this is a gear issue, I have cleaned out the carb, so there is no problem there, and it looks like the governor is at maximum setting (according to a yamaha guy), I was hoping for some clues as to what my problem might be.
I am hoping not to spend over 2k on a new transmission, basically, that is all the money I have for this refurb anyway, any suggestions that may save me a buck would be much appreciated, Thanks in Advance!!! |
