Yamaha G-2 Clutch Weights
Have a G-2 with a broken clutch weight have the parts to fix but am trying to figure out how to get the bottom Pin out. Top pin has set screws and slides right out. Looks like the other pin needs to be driven out and it does not want to budge. Do not want to break the housing. Is the pin taper and need to go a certain way or are there any tricks that will help in the removal? Thanks

Re: Yamaha G-2 Clutch Weights
You will need to take out all 6 set screws that hold the upper weight pins. That will allow you to remove the "spider" to get to the lower weight pins set screws. Remember to "blue Loctite" them when you reassemble.
