Default Governor spring zip tie pics

Could someone take a pic of the gov spring zip tied..I am not too sure how it is supposed to go. Trying to get my cart to go 12mph. I have tried adjusting everything and no luck..12mph is just a little slow for me.

I have been using the Lockmans system for a long time but he wrote, photo'd and described it with more patience than I will ever have but I digress,. One of our Golf club members (the poor man has Parkinsons disease)requested some more "oomph" for his cart recently and I duly obliged. Scared the poor man shitless. apparantly, his right foot / leg only operates in an on / off fashion and we watched in amazement as the hapless fellow shot uphill to his cart shed at a hitherto unprecedented speed shortly followed by a banshee howl from the tyres as he finally managed to find the brake pedal and come to a halt before demolishing half of the membership parking slots. His son, ( a highway patrol officer) politely requested I undo the mischief before his father became embroiled in a potentially embarrassing situation. These mods really do work but be careful as to who is driving the modified unit, children, drunks and people with neural problems are not best suited for increased performance levels in my considered opinion.

Chris.

Well, I zipped the spring only enough to get 12mph. It is much better, and my engine is still under the limiter. Hard to believe that going from 10mph to 12mph is much of a difference, but it is.. Thanx!!

As the clutch wears some , the speed will decrease. At least that was my experience. I had the clutch redone, NO speed mods, and got another 3 to 4 MPH.
