My G9 just before it spun a bearing during 4th of July parade. After much trials n tribulations I got it running with a used crank and new bearings, seals, gaskets and rings etc it’s running again but very hot! I added exactly one quart of oil like I’ve read but after 5 minutes of run time it was hot and only showing 1/2 full on the stick. Shrouds are ckean, carb was set to specs and rechecked valves after it cooled down. Any ideas?

Have no idea how to turn picture right side up, sorry

Hope you enjoy the G2/G9. I just swapped out the body on an old cart that I built a long time ago. The frame was rotted real bad from the battery. Now she has a little more power under the seat. It a G2/G9 combo with the body being G9 and the frame being G2. I had some brand new G2 rubber kick plates for a G2 so I used them also. New 18hp Briggs with two barrel carb, rev kit, big cam and other things. Almost done just needing a couple more things to come in.
