HELP!! What Year Is This Rare Yamaha Cart?
I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what year and actual model my recent purchase is! I would love to find out if it actually is a cross between the G22 and the Drive or what so I can start ordering parts to do a ground up restoration. I Googled JN7 identification and see many other carts like this one in japan or being imported to the US but no year build. This is a cart that was built in Japan and imported as used to the US. The id tag on the frame says JN7-006523. The engine has cast into it: JN6 & 301cm3. The gas tank has JN5 on it. The air box has PPT30 on it.

Wow Moes!! that is made out of all kinds of parts. the primary clutch is G9 era. as well as the tranny. but would like ta see the valve cover. Front sus. with half the rack being used and a drag link being used behind the spindle, well thats... well I don't know what that is... Different!!
 Ok, there 's the valve cover, looks like a g16 motor. I'd say car is one of a kind, made out of left over parts, Moes, thats about all I ann tell ya. Maybe proto type. |

I bet thats one of those overseas releases that came here on a container. Never meant to be actually released in the US. Its bad azz for sure though.
