That's what I was thinking as well. I've zip-tied mine and I can feel the engine backing off as speed increases, so I know the governor is still at work. Which is fine by me at this point. My next speed increase will come by way of larger tires.

Not sure but i dont see the team industries logos on the new ones like mentioned above.

They are strikingly similar to the G2-G9 design, which yamaha built, or at least it had "tuning fork logo".

Has there been any update about the upgrades for the FI carts mentioned in the original post?

Not sure i know don has been working on mods for the efi carts just not sure when he will have it svailable. Be rest assured he will not rush it until its perfect.
