You sold me a new style spring seat! But I'm not about to tare down a perfectly good running car to put it in!!

If I ever remove the body, I'll put it in!! I'm not standing on my head to work on crapin Spot, just to make it happy!!

By the way, drove Spot over 10 miles today!!

Got some work done tonight. Wheels & tires finally came. Got the lift installed, HD rear springs, and cleaned up a little more.

Top speed was 20.1 MPH with the governor zip-tied.

Hoping to connect with Don & Plowman's next week. Played phone tag today.

Looks good.

Can I permanantly borrow your transaxle? :) The transaxle in my project G22 limo is coming out tomorrow to begin the teardown to figure out this shifting problem.

A little. Seems pretty smooth. I know I need a new belt. Top speed was around 20MPH running down my street. Not looking for huge speed. I'd be happy around 25MPH.

I understand the spacer, but that won't stop the leaking seal correct?

Yes the seal can be replaced from the outsidee, no need to tear into the case unless the input shaft bearing is bad. Nice build

Get a belt. I will post a pic of a easy and safe (not safe for YDRA Team axle) governor mod that will get you a couple mph, and still control motor speed.

Disconnect governor-to-carb cable (it will be in the way), remove threaded rod and 10mm nut from arm (will not be reinstalled), flip spring around to front side of governor arm as shown, reconnect carb cable. This will get about 3 mph increase safely.

Thanks cgtech! I'll look into that. Talked with Don @ plowmans today. I will be ordering a performance kit on Monday. That guy know Yamaha carts! I learned more in 10 mins than 10 hours of reading.

Block...thanks for the info. I will replace the seal when I remove the secondary clutch.

Changed all the fluids today. Man was the gear oil bad!
