No Reverse
I have a 2002 48 volt club car, worked fine, decided to upgrade all of wires to 4G. Did one wire at a time. Cart will go forward but when I put it in reverse the solenoid clicks wheels try to start solenoid clicks again and nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: No Reverse
One wire at a time means there is no way you have something connected wrong ....... are u sure all of the connections are good? Double checked?

Re: No Reverse
I thought I would have no issues by replacing one wire at a time. I just can't figure this one out. I have it on jacks and when I place it in the fwd direction solenoid clicks and the wheels turn perfect. When I plave it in reverse the buzzer sounds the solenoid clicks the wheels just start to turn, the solenoid clicks and nothing. Everytime I try it same thing sometimes the wheels will turn about a 1/4 turn before the solenoid clicks and everything stops.

Re: No Reverse
If it worked before you started working on it then you did something to make it not work? Have you printed out the wiring diagram for your cart from the stickies at the beginning of this section?

Re: No Reverse
Try slamming the F&R lever back and forth a few times? NO lever? Snap the toggle F&R hard a few times..... Sounds like the controller is not getting the signal to fire up and all you are getting is the controller discharge power bleeding off when you put it in reverse...

Re: No Reverse
I don't seem to be able to find the proper wiring diagram; my cart is a 2002 regen IQ.

Re: No Reverse
1 solenoid, what I don't understand is the solenid clicks when I put it in reverse and press the pedal and imediately clicks again like it is clicking off, because when it is in fwd it clicks and only clicks again when I take my foot of the pedal.
