Hmm, that does look a little close. Did you install the connecting rod or was it already assembled? Is there any lateral movement or is it tight?

Con rod was on. Everything is tight. Measures to within a mm of center with a caliper.

1 mm off center isn't that much, just looks like a lot from the photo. I never measured any of mine, I just slapped them together lol.

That makes me feel better. How do you stop the crank from turning to torque the clutch and fan? Or just hit em with the impact? Lol.

In the Yamaha manual they show all kinds of special tools. I just used an impact, works perfectly.
