Default 89 marathon runs stalls runs stalls

I'm trying to solve my 89 ezgo fuel issue. Will start fine, run for several minutes, then begin to lose power and finally quits. Can wait a couple minutes and with a small amount of choke will take off and run another few hundred yards or longer before going thru the same symptoms.

Took carb off and cleaned with wire tie and carb cleaner. Carb looked clean and no debris in bowl. Replaced fuel filter with no change. Filter appears to not be even half full of fuel at any time and when it stops it looks only about 1/8 full.

Mixing my fuel and oil.

My next step is to check fuel pump by removing line to carb and letting motor turn over.

Please give me some ideas on some other things to check.

Thanks much for any help I can get!!

Be sure the fuel tank vent is operating. Most vents are in the fuel cap, others the tank has a vent hose.
Fuel filters don't fill up with fuel (unless gravity fed), but they can look clean and not be.
The fuel pump test will tell you the rest...I think
Good Luck. Let us know what it is....or what happens.

As usual, took the second round of carb cleaning to get it solved. Can't say enough about carb cleaner and compressed air!!!!!!!!!!!!

Runs well. Might need some clutch work but I'm going to enjoy it for now.

Thanks everybody
