Oh yes it runs but not sure how well. I wasn't able to drive it but did get it running in neutral. I am just curious how to get some good ditch climbing - creek crossing power but keep it quiet. You think the 350 is enough with a dad and two young teens in it?

I didn't have a way to test compression so I have no idea what condition the motor is in. I'll have to go get some pics and while I'm there maybe test it. What should I look for?

They are quite and have good power if everything is adjusted right. I overload the one I have all the time and it doesn't ever quit pulling. I will literly use it like a small dump truck, get my son to drive and dump, while I load with the tractor. it'll hold 2, five foot buckets worth of dirt. around a cubic yard. I've had 14 bags of 80lb sacrete on it plus a couple 200+lb men. plus run it up and down hills like that. i've had to get somebody to sit on the front to hold it down while going up hill i've put so much weight on it before. It really does well in most places and will spin the tires instead of stalling or stopping. they are true workhorses and will out run most all normal carts. i'd just make sure it doesn't smoke, compression should be 150+

Ok well then that sounds like we should be fine with the OEM motor. I'll need to get a trailer and get over there and pick it up. Can't wait to get started.

Assuming compression proves out and it's not a smoker....

I found that if you get a picture of a nice one that looks like it and Photoshop "her" name across the front of it you might have points in you're favor!

Great idea Crash!

Well, change of pace. I changed my mind today and decided to stick with the 1995 TXT pictured in the opening post. Gonna have to rent a trailer to go pick it up tomorrow. Eventually I'm gonna have to go get a trailer to haul her around. What size is a good all around ATV / Cart trailer?

So....you guys tell me. What should I put on this gal to do it right? What brands/kits would you go with?

1) 6" lift via long travel suspension

2) big block upgrade (stock 295 is blown)

3) 22" or larger wheels with 10" or 12" rims (Which is best for off road'n?)

4) rear seats

5) lots of lights for hunting and night driving

I have a $5,000 budget. $4,400 after the cart purchase.
