Ez-Go Ignitor
I am in need of a Ingitor for a 1993 ezgo golf cart. The cart has the 295 engine. There are 5 wires coming out of this sealed unit. It is made by Denki #881127.
Thanks if anyone can help me find one, I just cant spend $185. for this old of a cart. Old Farmer |

Re: Ez-Go Ignitor
I would replace that ignitor unit with a 4 pin HEI module. These run about 40.00. They can be found on ebay and maybe some sponsors might carry them. You keep your ignition coil and pulsar unnit and the wires from those units connect to the hei. Hei should mount to aluminum flat bar and be grounded. Connection details are on the schematic at the bottom of the page link below.

Re: Ez-Go Ignitor
Thanks alot Jeff, I was thinking there was some cars and trucks with a pulsar switch which required a HEI.
I'll give it a shot. |

Re: Ez-Go Ignitor
My ignitior was shot too, I just finished the HEI conversion and it works great.Well worth the $20 you might spend on it.I got my unit from a junk distributor from a Chevy smallblock.
Took me an hour and the diagram on this site is right on. |
