I agree about the swing-arm,I don't care for the "semi-independent" suspension of the G16.My wifes' cart doesn't seem as stable as others that have a standard swing-arm.Wish I knew about the 16-rear being wider,i would have gone that route!

Yeah that is what I was thinking about doing.The G9 hit a tree and they cut out a piece of the frame and it looks like the replacement piece is shorter so the front end is twisted.The G 16 seems to be in much better shape but it was electric so there will be some work involved in the change over.

I really appreciate all the information and ideas you guys.I am still pretty new to this and learning as I go but so far its a fun ride.Heck I spend more time on my cart then I do on my Harley.

we have the G9 and G16 and we love the 16 for riding around on back roads and around town. but for trail riding we prefer the 9's.

Yeah my first cart was a Hyundia based on the G 9 and it rode great.The 16 is a great cart but on trail it does feel different so I think putting the 9 rear section under the 16 would make a all around great cart.
