Electric F/R switch for gas engine?
I'll be acquiring an old three wheeler electric ez-go which I'll be converting to a Polaris 440.(I'll be posting pics and videos of the "Snowmobastard").Anyhow.I was thinking that the F/R switch on the electric pretty much does the same thing as the gasser. It just reverses polarity right? Is it possible to just bolt it right on and have it work?

Re: Electric F/R switch for gas engine?
No, they are different. The electric F&R is a rotary contactor switch and the gas switch is a push pull cable operation.

Re: Electric F/R switch for gas engine?
The one on my gasser has four big copper lug.The handle has four corresponding copper lugs that turn when you move the handle.I don't have any sort of cable on my F/R switch.Unless you mean electric is a cable and gasser is rotary.
