Default 2 stroke 3pg motor

How long do you think a cart would run if the oil injector did not work right?

depends ... if by "not right" you mean "not at all", I would think the first time it was run for an extended period or above say 4000rpm that would be it ... Normal slow stop and go, maybe not as bad but still fatal over a week or two (just my estimate, of course)

If the cable snapped or became disconnected it wouldn't hurt at all as the pump would then default to maximum output i.e. 128:1. However if the pump stopped pumping then neat gas would wash off any residual in the carburetor, crankcase and cylinder and I would give it 27 minutes and 15 seconds before meltdown.

The safest route is to just scrap the pump-system,pre-mix your fuel 1oz/gal or 1-1/2oz/gal if you run hard and ungoverned. This way you'll never wonder if its' getting oil.Hope this helps.
