Default headlights

Good morning,
I have a 96 Ds with stock headlites. I installed a reducer to
reduce voltage from 48V to 12V and replaced the bulbs with halogen. The
lites still are not bright enough. Any suggestions on what to do to increase
night time driving.
Bob

Hi bob, if you want better night vision you should go with led for sure. I add a 12" light bar on my rxv, I got it for 25$ on amazon.. for the price the quality is really good..... julien

I replaced the headlights on my Yamaha with LED and they are way brighter! The stock ones were useless for seeing at night.

I just installed a 12" LED light bar 70 watts from amazon two days ago. Installed under the bumper. Can't believe how bright the road is now. Installed on a separate light switch so I can turn off if meeting a car in the neighborhood. It will blind anyone coming at you. I have it angled now some also. Only 27.00 dollars.

I found some 2 inch square HD driving lights on superbrightled.com. You have choices of beam angle from 10-120 deg. If I have factory headlights on my cart which I don't, I would just add a couple of these and use them when needed. Best thing is these lights are rated for up to 50 volts so you can go straight to the pack and put them on a separate switch then you have low & high beams.
