Stops after 5 minutes
2007 Club Car refurbished. Batteries less than 1 year old. Foot pedal assy. replaced about 4 years ago under warranty.
I hope I'm posting correctly - posted yesterday but couldn't figure out how to add to the previous post. I had a battery cable problem but that is fixed with a new cable. No problems now with cables or batteries. Current problem - Cart runs fine for 5 minutes, then stops. I replaced the run/tow switch but didn't help. Found the battery cable problem and fixed that. Jacked one back wheel off the ground and let cart run for 5 minutes and it quit. Obviously some electrical or electronic part is failing and I'm assuming it's because of overheating. Question - Could the solenoid be cutting out because it's overheating? I'm just guessing - any advice would be appreciated. Fred |

Re: Stops after 5 minutes
I found a great trouble shooting site on the internet. But this forum won't let me post the site for another 5 days. I'll post the info when able.
