New Batt Installation Procedure?
I read where someone was asking about a certain way to install new batteries in a Club Car? I just bought new batteries for a 2007 Precedent - 4 12v trojans. Could someone share what this procedure is?
Thanks |

Re: New Batt Installation Procedure?
Place in Tow
Disconnect last battery -NEG Replace each battery 1 at a time (Check and clean cable ends as needed) and reconnect , then next do battery # 2, reconnect, then #3 , then #4. Reconnect the last -NEG battery lead, which U disconnected in the beginning. Check battery water levels , at least 1/4" above plates. Attach to charger , let charger run until is shuts itself off . U'r done ! |

Re: New Batt Installation Procedure?
Thanks, but there are no batteries in it currently. Is that a problem? Should I install like there are batteries in it and follow the procedure above? Does anyone have a diagram the way it should look? I forgot to record that.

Re: New Batt Installation Procedure?
No not really as long as U understand that the batteries are wired in series.
Looking from the front. starting with the first battery to the left (passenger side). And connect the last -NED battery on right driver side last . otherwise U will have arching (BAD) Go here and look at the 4 x 12 wiring http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ry-wiring.html |

Re: New Batt Installation Procedure?
Huntingcart is right, I bought my 2005 used and thought someone had just changed it when the new controller was installed until I saw a diagram in the owners manual. I happen to have a 2007 manual (same batt set up as the 2005) I will try to post the 2007 picture. If it doesn't work this the order. #1 is front on driver side. #2 is back on drivers side. #3 is back on passenger side and #4 is front on passenger.
