Default 48 volt charger will not shut off

I have a 48 volt charger for my 95 club car. I believe that the obc is bad and it has been bypassed. Is there a way to charge the batteries without replacing the obc?

Shawn can you clarify your post? The title say charge will not shut off. the question says charger won't come on? Or what? I'm confused.

Yes you can charge the batteries without the OBC you just can't leave it on because it want never shut off.
Or buy a new auto charger.

if you want everything right you could just replace the OBC its a lot cheaper than a charger, cost not much more than one battery....................
