Default Club Cart Alltrax - Help

I have a CC 96, 48v. I have purchased an alltrax axe4855 to replace my damaged controller. Finally arrived, but this controller does not have the A2 plug for the wire.

What can I do? I dont have a manual, and have looked at the alltrax document depot, and the say dont connect the Plug Brake. I dont understand, what should I do with the cable?

HELP!!!!

http://www.alltraxinc.com/files/Doc1...6-wire-dia.pdf

Use this diagram and you will be fine, A2 instead of going to the Plug Brake on the controller will go to the A2 or lower left side of the switch with looking at the bottom left.

A1 of motor to B+ on controller
S1 of motor to upper right of switch (or S1)
S2 of motor to upper left side of switch (or S2)
A2 of motor to lower left side of switch (A2)

Remember when mentioning upper left, lower left, etc I am looking at the back of the F/R switch from the battery compartment point of view.

You will see as the switch in the diagram looks like the actual switch.

Done, however, I must have done something wrong.... if the pedal is pressed to the floor, it wont move, however for the max cart speed the pedal must be almost released.... what can be causing this.???

Improper throttle input signal. Your new unit may be looking for a 0-5000 ohm signal and your cart may be producing a 5000-0 ohm signal. I may have the numbers backwards, but the point is it sounds like your Alltrax is programmed wrong for your particular cart.

Crap.... it is a used alltrax, and it indicates that it is 0-5000 ohm, however, what would be the best to workaround here?

First of all, the AXE controller should only power up when you press the gas pedal, looking the controller when pressing the gas pedal do you get a green power light? It should go green then flash a number of times representing what the throttle is set at. Do you get any lights at all?

When I press the pedal, only a quarter of an inch, it will go as fast as it could go, if I floor it, it will go from slower to not moving at all. I am unable to see the light, since the controller is under the pass seat and facing back. The cart was fine with the Curtis controller OEM.

Any suggestion on how to fix it?

So your throttle mapping is wrong, do you have a computer and USB to Serial Cable to program the controller? You'd also need Alltrax's controller pro software which is a free download.
