Re: rebuild a 89 marathon
Hey there Mako,
Welcome to the addiction... There's a bunch of us with '89 Marathons and if you'll check-out the 'Golf Cart Pics' you'll see some beautiful machines that should jump-start your creative thoughts. I've only been here a month, after buying the neighbor's Marathon out of his barn. My cart is old & ugly, just like me, and my plans are to keep it that way. Knowing nothing about golf carts, BuggiesGoneWild has saved me both time & money. All while meeting some great people... So enjoy and we'll be looking for some photos. Later. Re: rebuild a 89 marathon
I have an 89 that i am just about through with. A link to the build is in my signature.
I will tell you now, it is addicting and it can be expensive but there are a lot of helpful people on this site and they will steer you in the right direction. It may not be the cheapest way to go, but it will be safe and dependable. |

1989 E-Z-GO My first cart and I did all the work myself except painting it. I wished I had never sold it!

I bought my '89 Marathon from my neighbor, I WISH YOU WERE MY NEIGHBOR...! I like the BIG Roof and the tire/wheel combo. Can ya recall what size they were and it that a 4 inch lift...? Looking real good and I wish mine looked like that. Thanks for the inspiration. Danny aka: SKUNKVILLE SCOOTER |
