having electrical issues w/ 36volt ezgo
I have a 36 volt ezgo not sure the year model. I just replaced the bad batteries and charged them up voltage at the charging port is 37.3 volts. sylinoid is working when you mash the accelarator pedal and im getting 37 volts on the a1-a2-s1ands2 terminals on the motor. i took the motor apart and cleaned the armateur and the windings. i ohmed out the terminalls between the windings and have continuity but i dont have it between the brushes . and help would be greatly appreciated.

I would take it to an Automotive Electric Shop where they rebuild starters, alternators and such. I was having a similar problem with my motor and had it rebuilt for $100 now it works fine.

Sounds like your motor has bad brushes.
Also, your battery pack is only 75% charged and the plates are sulfating as we speak. If 37.3V is all your charger is charging them to, your need to fix the charger also. You should keep your batteries as close to fully charged as possible or practical (38.2V) |
