stopped running, no warning
my 1991 36v Marathon stopped dead in its tracks. The F-N-R switch felt slightly warm. I found a cable running to the motor had broken or burned off. After replacing the cable, the stud on the motor was loose and will not tighten. the cart will not go; just clicks one time when you push the accelerator and once when you let off. Any Help???

Re: stopped running, no warning
The same thing happened to me on my 1996 Ezgo txt series cart... I replaced the solenoid and it works great now. You might want to try that, its only $25.
