Default What type of charger for 91 marathon 36 Volt?

Well the transformer is out on the charger I have for my old marathon I just bought. They guy I bought the cart with told me it worked but it didnt, he is going to give me $175 bucks back which is better than nothing! Anyhow, I am looking on the local craigslist and I found a Mac Phazer Battery Charger 36 Volt (my cart is 36 volt) that a local company had used for a 36V forklift for $200. Will any charger like that work as long as it is 36V?

Or the Dane Charger 36 volt 15 amp? Designed as an onboard charger but I would use it as a stand alone. It is only $100 plus shipping and factory refurbished. Sounds like a good deal to me and the guy said he would throw in an anderson end for me.

The forklift charger may be overkill as it says it is set up for 80% discharged batteries and we only discharge GC to 50% ? But that may be okay, It will certainly do a better job than the 15amp @ 36v (too small) charger.

Just remember that this charger will take twice as long to charge your cart than the original one did!
