2003 ex go powerwise qe changeover ?
I have a 36v 2003 ezgo TXT. It came with a powerwise QE charger. The charger seems to have died on me. I have read in these forums that the qe charger is junk and is hard to repair. a buddy has an old club cart charger (Lestronic 2) that's 36v. Could I change the connectors from my qe to this charger and use it? I would really hate to buy a new charger when this one is sitting unused...

Re: 2003 ex go powerwise qe changeover ?
Welcome top BGW!
Changing the plug should do the trick. The output cable probably has two wires and the QE had three. Just connect the the two wire to the main terminals and leave the silver spring contact disconnected. (Battery sensing is done internally on the two wire systems and via the auxiliary contact on the three wire systems) |
