Default motor rebuild

im in the process of repairing/rebuilding my golf cart motor. i most of it apart and now just need to replace the brushes but i cant get the armature and brush holder out of the casing. its a columbia par car motor. i did have an old stock marathon motor and that came apart and went back together without a hitch but the columbia motor isnt being so nice. if anyone can tell me how to get it out that would be greatly appreciated

Dana Axle:

Dunno if they will help.

Stock motor rebuild is in there. There are three manuals besides the Dana Axle; Owner's, Parts, and Service.
