Want to repair connectors for my 1990 Marathon
I bought a 1990 Marathon recently. I notice that when plugging the charger cable that it is not a very tight secure fit. I am wondering if I can replace the connectors in the cart and the cable plug in handle. The connection is via two flat connectors in each of the connectors.
What connectors do I get and how difficult to do the repair? Thanks for helping a newbie owner. |

Re: Want to repair connectors for my 1990 Marathon
Try www.shopezgo.com. However, this is the nature of the beast somewhat. The charger connection on my '91 was always flimsy feeling compared to my TXT. (the TXT uses different connectors) Difficult to judge since I can't see your cart but this might be just the way it is. Can you get your hands on any other Marathons to make a comparison?

It is easy enough to change out the connector on both ends, so you could change over to a different style if the one you have isn't solid by design.
All that really matters, though, is that the electrical connection is solid, and that the plug stays in place while charging. ..a |
