prolly a broken con rod! take out the plugs and see if both pistons move when you turn the engine over. or could be a holed piston or shot rings or or or or or ?

I'll bet it's the rod also, or piston gnomes

Sounds like the fairies zapped a hole in the piston.

How much are your fuel fairies charging for a liter of petrol?

ps:
1 US gallon = 3.78541178 liters

going by your calculation that would make it £4.46 per gallon or around $8.75

Yes we are now well off topic. But hey lets chat a while and see if we can get a diagnosis of the lack of compression in the meantime.

for an LPG installation you need, A large tank, copper pipe, an emulater (control box ) a changeover switch, injectors or carb injector plate (multipoint or single carb) various solenoids and a vapouriser to convert the liquid to a gas which is mixed with air to create a combustible medium. then a tweak on the ignition timing and hey presto, you are running on lpg. The conversion over here costs around $1400 to do it yourself, or double that for a certificated installed system. The other benefits are much lower road tax and also free entry in to Londons congestion charge area.
So, You still pay The government in taxes, but one whole lot less than most other drivers. and after just a year or so the installation pays for itself, then starts paying you back.

Worth every penny, once the PETROL prices get high.

I also got to keep my 4 litre jeep on the road! It costs less to run than my old Vauxhall astra was on petrol.

We now run three trucks on Lpg in my company and are about to convert another.
Hope this answers your question
