Default Someone help

ok i have a 1992 yamaha g2 it wil not climb hills very good it starts making a squealing noises on hills it does fine on flat surfaces what do i do to fix this i am new to this forum and working on golf carts

Welcome to the forum!The squeel is the belt slipping,probably need a new one.Plus you can install a new high torque clutch spring,this will improve performance.

Check rear clutch to see how fast it opens up. Circlip or snap ring on rear input shaft may be broken. Check to see if spring seat is rubbing rear ending housing. Circlip goes between spring seat and housing with 1/4 to 1/2 " clearance.

Sounds like a rear Driven Clutch problem.. Probably the original in there?

Check for grease fittings on the front and rear clutch, give them only 2 pumps each with a grease gun.
