Default Identifying model & electrical issue.

I just purchased a Melex golf cart. I am unsure of the year and model due to the serial number plate being removed. I took a couple of photos to help identify the year and model (if that's possible.)

The electrical issue that I am having..

The previous owner had the control module "rebuilt" and the cart ran for about 3 - 4 hours before he decided it was safe to sell. He ran it at night with the lights on, batteries held a good charge and the lights never dimmed. He pulls the cart in at his place to charge it for the new owner to pick up the next day. He lost forward and reverse. I helped try to diagnose the issue with a volt meter. Each battery tested at appropriate voltages, solenoid tested with 36 volts coming from.. Motor had 1 volt going in, and control box fluxuated from 2 - 5 volts. I am thinking that it could possibly have a bad connection or a bad solenoid.

We ran another test by keeping a foot on the accelerator and tried wiggling some wires to see if it would catch a connection. And believe it or not, it jumped. It hasn't hit a lick since but the solenoid continues to click.

Turn the key. Solenoid clicks.
Press the accelerator. Solenoid clicks.
Put cart in foward. Solenoid clicks.
Put cart in reverse. Solenoid clicks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Clint

EDIT: I forgot to add the photos for identification.
