Default EZGO Medalist Engine Swap

Hello all, new guy here. I am working on a 1994 EZgo Medalist, swapped in a new predator 420 cc, added the open filter, jet upgrade, and pipe. I tried to use the stock clutch, but there is my issue. As soon as I start it, the clutch slides and and engages the belt. I hope someone here will have a good suggestion for a replacement clutch that will work with the 420cc and stock rear axle. Thank you in advance.

The stock clutches (or aftermarket) are not designed to idle. Since you're running thr stock clutch now I'm going to assume you cut the crankshaft and used a tapered adapter. That means you're stuck with a stock clutch (unless you replace the crankshaft)...

You'll need to add a spring inside the clutch to keep the sheaves spread apart until it can engage at a higher rpm when you want it to

Looks like i missed some info in my post sorry, I used a tapered adapter and spacer. The engine still has the full 1" shaft on it. I would just have to pull the stock clutch and slide off the adapter.
