Default EZGO GAS TXT 350cc - Irregualy running at High RPM

For my EZGO 2001 TXT Shuttle 2+2 350cc

ENGINE RUNNING ISSUES - Low speed seems fine.

Please see short video below. I have tried everything.
But can’t source the problem.

Do u think this running has anything to do this valve timing / clearance.
Or Clutch.
I would greatly appreciated your assistance.

For the link pls see below 30sec video of the engine not been able to reach full RPM

The Irregular running is your motor hitting the rev limiter, that's it for rpm. Like I said in your last thread
"it's your drive clutch" the belt should come up to the top of the pulley, it's not closing all the way.

I'm not clicking links or downloading anything to watch a video... youtube is free and safe for us.

But stovebolt knows his stuff. If hes seen a video and says your clutch is bad, I'm pretty inclined to believe him. These motors dont rev that high, they're not designed to. Bad things happen when they over rev, which is why they have a rev limiter to protect from that happening.

I appreciate your help Stovebolt and Cp241.
Here is a utube of the issue.

So the next step is how to solve the drive clutch issues.
Hopefully that is straight forward.

I’ll do some research and get back to you. I’ll post here solutions for others to see.

If you or anybody knows of any good links please post here.

Btw the rear clutch assembly running is unbalanced. I’ll take a video of that and post here.

May have talked to soon, it could also be your driven clutch not opening.

Ok , thanks

As the drive clutch seems to close quickly and belt ride up well. But not sure how high it normally should go? From the video should it go higher?

I’ll video some more and post.

Btw do u have any good links of Governer adjustments. As my accerator cable was frayed. And needed replacement & adjustment.

It is StoveBolt. I have had several in the last few years do this . Good time to purchase the 28 degree driven clutch
You can take it apart and look. I can guarantee the three ramp buttons are worn out.
