Testing ignitor/exciter
Is there a way to test them? I can't seem to get the search bar to work to see if someone has instructions.

Re: Testing ignitor/exciter
No way that I have seen or heard, other than plug in a known working unit to verify the old one doesn't work. The problem is you chance killing the known good one in the process if you haven't solved whatever caused the old one to die first. They are different from model to model as well.
