TXT Fleet (series) Mods
Alright, I have my fleet (series) cart all torn down. I plan on replacing ALL of the stock 6 gauge cables with either 2 or 4 gauge (is 2 gauge worth it?). What kind of other "mods" can I do to it? The engine does not "brake" when going down hills. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. But just for basic straight out speed or power up hills. I have a friend with a PDS w/speed chip and I am just interested in keeping up to that. Any ideas?
Thanks |

Re: TXT Fleet (series) Mods
If you have a stock fleet car you should be running about 14.5 MPH. Your buddy with the PDS and speed chip should be running around 19.5 MPH. How much money are you ready to spend? You are going to need either a new controller or a new/rebuilt motor. If you want even more speed you need to think about 48 volt upgrade and/or lift kit and larger wheels and tires.;

Re: TXT Fleet (series) Mods
I just upgraded my 2000 series cart with a P/Q motor. I'm running stock controller with Mustang wheels and tires on the back. GPS'ed @ 24 MPH.
Everything is stock in the electronics. I do have bigger cables though. |
