82 Club Car solenoid question.
Hi all, I'm sure this is a rookie question and if it's been answered in another thread could you please let me know.
My 82 will not run, it obviously has 5 solenoids and the first 4 are clicking as they are supposed to, the last one (passenger side) does not click, but has 37+ voltage (just like the other 4). Is the last solenoid my problem or could it be one of the other solenoids and how do I check them? Thanks in advance for putting up with a newbie to the cart world. Barry |

Re: 82 Club Car solenoid question.
welcome to BGW......the furthest left soleniod ( drivers side ) is the master soleniod......without that one cart won,t run the others are speeds..........even a clicking soleniod can be bad............so if your sure batteries and cables are all ok than jack the rear up and jump the large post on the furthest left soleniod than turn key on and put in gear and press pedal cart should run if so that soleniod is bad if not the problem is elsewhere........................
