I think it was a joke???? Can't be done on an electric motor.

i like all the suggestions! push it off a cliff is the best!
it can go about 13 mph but i get a nose bleed pulling it that fast!

OK, lets forget the 'cheap' part. what is a reasonable way to go faster?

it's a 1997 cc 48v club regen that i stripped all the regen stuff out and changed the wiring from 6 ga to 2 ga. it was even slower before but now i get about 13-14 mph.'
got any real suggestions?

John, thanks for being a sport
The biggest bang for the buck in this cart is simply to locate a series 36v CC motor and stick it in it...... done. Gains of 30% are possible in torque and speed depending upon the condition of the motor and your controller etc.
