Re: Need help!
andy you have to change everything including the main wiring harness, you can,t just put a controller in that cart and a motor it won,t work.......wait dor david and talk with him i think we had a guy here with that system that had a slug of issues and wanted to change it and david hadto start from square one...........i have one of those at camp......the pot is no longer available and its backwards from every other pot out there......that is a nightmare setup but when its running right its the bomb................i would talk with david he should be able to let you know just what your in for, thats the reagan powerdrive plus and was only made for 2 years as i have heard it was some sort of experiment they were toying with.............................

Re: All Done
Yea Ha! It's running and doing fine I programed the controller and it runs great on the jack stands. I need regular batteries but other than that it's good to go. I used all the factory wiring and did away with what I didn't need.
All that is left is the battery cables and I should have enough to do them also. :D Here are some pics. The donor cart: The Motor: Cables I made for it: Cables and controller: Forward / Reverse contactor and main contactor: The batteries I used for trouble shooting! Digital battery meter I'm going to install. That was with the charger plug up to the cart through the factory plug with a auto charger and my adapter plug. |

Re: Need help!
Motor, controller, f/r contactor. Wiring unless you already have cables for it. If you don't want to use the contactor a old style F/R handle and enough cables and ends to make them up. I have the crimper. Money? No money man I still owe you for coming up to the beach and installing the AC stuff.
I used all the wiring out of the orignal cart. |

Re: Need help!

Re: Need help!
I added the volt meter to the dash.
I may work on the lights now that I'm on a roll. |
