96 club car regent 1
I have a 96 club car 48v regent 1 ...can someone please tell me what things i can do to get it to go faster. It seems that every
thing for this cart is for either a series motor or a regent 2. I don't want to spend a lot of money as it is a 96. Thanks.....bob |

Re: 96 club car regent 1
Regen 1 was a transitional model drive system. The aftermarket supply line does not support the regen I and II models very well. Any serious upgrades will probably require you convert the cart to series. Which isn't inexpensive.

Re: 96 club car regent 1
how attached are you to this cart? my suggestion is sell it while its running and buy another one.....that cart was only made for 2 years and although while its running its a good cart but if you start having trouble its a real nightmare and nothing about it is cheap................................

yes bigtime, OLDESTCOWBOY please don,t take offence none is meant but there arn,t a lot of people who have seen that setup or know what to do with it.......i own one have worked on some over the years and its still one cart that confuses me......replacement controller for it is 700 bucks if you can get it ( getting harder )but i have to say when everything is working right its a good cart i,m surprised your looking for speed they average 17mph......................
