breaking in new batteries
I have an 03 precedent 48v system that I just replace all the 8v batteries. I read the sticky on how break them in by charging them first then running then down to 50% before charging again. The question is how do I know when it is ran down to 50%. Do I check with the volt meter I have ran the cart a little everyday for a week and the cycle still reads 50.3V

Re: breaking in new batteries
i don,t know if you have to go down to 50% or not before you charge i think the idea is not to get there so if you charge it everytime your done using it that would be ok unless your driving it till their dead........................

Re: breaking in new batteries
You don't have to let them go down to 50% before charging. Just don't let them go below 50% without charging.
A great investment http://cartsunlimited.net/Digital_Battery_Meters.html |
