wanna be wild
just bought a 2010 rxv for hunting and camping . it has not got enough low end torque from 0 to3 mph . it has 23 in tires . how much more torque would it have if I went back to 20 in tires ? I have not found any other solutions to the torque problem .

Re: wanna be wild
Going from 23" tires down to 20" tires will increase the torque where rubber meets road by 15%.
It will also decrease the top speed by 13%. I'm not familiar with RXV controller programming, so there may be some settings that will provide better low end performance. |

Re: wanna be wild
Take it to dealer and have "acceleration" setting set to "high". This will reduce the lag-time from when you "floor it" to apply full power. Doesnt really add any torque, but "feels like" more torque.

Re: wanna be wild
Thanks for the answers .. My acceleration is on high .. Power is good after cart is moving but is weak on the start 0 to 5 and on steep hills..
