Not working led lights underneath ezgo, need help?
I recieved these as a present today and put them under my 2003 ezgo and they are not working. The package came with four two foot long red led lights, the wire and a on off switch. I came straight off the positive side of the battery and went straight to one side of the switch and the negative side of the battery to the negative of the first light, then the other side of the switch to the red side of the first light. Then connected all the lights with red to red and black to black. When i test the battery at the hookups I get 12 volts, I get twelve volts at the switch and I am getting twelve volts and each set of led. Nothing is working I get twelve volts at the end of the line. What am I doing wrong or do I have a bad set of lights. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks Gary

Re: Not working led lights underneath ezgo, need help?
My wife ordered them off of ebay and all the instruction sheet said was how to hook it straight to the battery or a 48 to 36 to 12 volt reducer if it was a electric cart. It didnt say anything about how much volts they were.

Make sure you have the red and the black hooked to the lights. In your description, I didn't see that you hooked the negative side of the light up, but I could have missed something. If you've got 12v where the light is connected, then I would think you have a bad light.

According to the instruction sheet the red was positive and the black was negative. I reversed them and now all lights are working. Thanks everybody.
