Default Mystrey box photos

Here are some photos of the black mystery box on my ezgo. It's behind
the drivers seat, has heavy 120 v male jack and flat cord going out into the wiring harness, about the size of typical indoor dropcord.

Do you have an onboard charger under the seat ? , that could be the plug for it. Or a maintainer.

No, if there was one it's gone now, the batteries and controller are the only things under the seat.

The device shown is a typical shore power inlet. 120VAC/15A pin configuration.

At some point in time, a 120VAC device of some kind was mounted in or on your cart. On-board battery charger is a likely possibility, but it could have been a roof mounted keg cooler, or most anything.

The part you need to figure out isn't the end shown in the pictures, it is where the other end of the wire goes.
If someone plugged a live extension into the it, the cart might go up in smoke.

Trace the wires leading out of it to wherever they end up. If you are lucky, you might find an inline AC receptacle or taped up wires. Of you are unlucky, the cable is just cut with bare copper showing.
