Default 98 cc ds

Getting ready to finish up repairs to this cart...I have removed the Amber battery light in favor of a guage...but that leaves me with an orange/white wire that I don't know where to attach? I also have a concern with what system I have since there is no run/tow switch. I don't care about regen or anything other than step on the pedal and go down the road. The cart is 48v with six 8v batteries. Looking for advice before I set the new batteries in the cart and start hook in up wires. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a toggle switch or handle for the F-R control?

Guys I didn't get a response to this post? Still trying to determine what system I have...and what the consequences of not using the brake switch with regards to the regen system ( I am using the TecScan wireless brake, lights and turn signal system) but now I am worried that the cart will not operate properly....getting down to the final stages here and need advice. Thanks

If you have a handle and not a rocker switch you have a series cart. There is no motor braking - the two systems (regen vs series) are worlds apart. Series does not use motor braking and is far less complex.

If you have a brake switch the cart must have originally had brake lights installed. It won't be required if your new system uses some other method of sensing the brake is being depressed.

Thank you! The new system uses an inertia switch...looks like it will be a cool system...it also uses a wireless switching system for the headlights and taillights and turn signals with a ten second auto cancel.
