Continuous buzzing sound club car precedent
I have a 2010 club car precedent that has a faint buzzing sound coming from the cart. It sounds similar to the sound when the cart is placed in reverse but not as loud. The sound stays on even when the key is turned off but shuts off when in tow mode.
It just started today after I was pressure washing the floor board. |

That's a good thing

Re: Continuous buzzing sound club car precedent
Well let the cart dry outside and 20 minutes later it has stopped buzzing. Thanks for the heads up. Any reason why it would do that in the first place ?

Re: Continuous buzzing sound club car precedent
When these carts get wet, water can get into places it usually wouldn't and cause some weird stuff to happen

Re: Continuous buzzing sound club car precedent
There's water in the F&R switch. Pop it out of the switch housing and unplug the wires from it. Pop the tabs loose and take switch apart. Dry it out real good with a hair dryer and put it back together. The noise should stop. If it gets wet enough it actually can create a short and make the vehicle think that the selector is in the forward and reverse position at the same time, causing it not to run at all. Dry it out. Water is bad.
