Curious about this too. I also have a 97 club car that I'm about to replace the batteries on. Would hate to do that if I get no speed increase from it.

Micro switch was the problem,cart works great now...thanks to all .

I'm having the same issue. New batteries, cables, and re worked v glide. For that price I'm willing to replace a micro switch.
